About
Warranty
Unless
otherwise agreed to in writing, Gigaram warrants that modules sold hereunder
shall be free from defects in material of workmanship under normal use and service
for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of shipment.
In the case of modules sold hereunder wherein a customer provides Gigaram with
a new part(s) for a particular assembly project(s), Gigaram warrants that such
assembly shall be free from defects in material of workmanship under normal use
and service also for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of shipment.
If, however, a customer provides Gigaram with used part(s) for a
particular assembly project(s), Gigaram warrants that such assembly
using used part(s) shall be free from defects in material of workmanship
under normal use and service for only one (1) month from the date
of shipment.
No warranty
extended by Gigaram shall apply to any modules which have been
modified
or altered by person other than
Gigaram's authorization
personnel; to modules that are defective due to misuse neglect improper
installation, soldering or accident or to modules sold as "used".
Gigaram's obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair
or replacement at Gigaram's option of defective parts or modules
P.O.B. Gigaram's warehouse in Lake Forest, California.
Gigaram's liability under this warranty shall be limited solely
to the cost of any necessary repairs to replacements of or refunds
of buyer's purchase price for the modules and Gigaram assumes no
risk of and shall not in any case be liable for any other damages,
including without limitation any special incidental consequential
or punitive damages, arising from breach of warranty or contract.
All modules sold by Gigaram hereunder shall be deemed acceptable
by buyer unless within seven (7) calendar days from the invoice date
buyer shall notify Gigaram in writing that such modules are damaged
defective or cannot be made operational. Any claims for shortages
must be made to Gigaram in writing seven (7) calendar days from the
invoice date.

RMA
Policy (For Resellers or Distributors ONLY)
- No
return will be accepted after fourteen (14) calendar days from invoice date.

Modules
accepted for credit upon return will be subject to handling/restocking
charge which shall be not less than fifteen percent (15%) of the price of
the modules.

Custom made modules are not subject to return under
any circumstances.

In no case are modules to be returned without first obtaining Gigaram's
written permission.

RMA (Returned Material Authorization)
number issued by
Gigaram must accompany all returned modules.

Modules must be securely
packed and delivered
to Gigaram in an undamaged condition with buyer being solely responsible
for paying all return freight expenses.

- Once
you have obtained a RMA number from Gigaram, you must, within thirty
(30) days, send the product freight prepaid to Gigaram.
When shipping an item back for replacement or return, MAKE
SURE THE RMA NUMBER IS CLEARLY PRINTED ON THE BOX. A Gigaram
authorized RMA number, packing slip and a copy of the original
invoice must accompany all returned merchandise. Item(s) returned
without a RMA number displayed on the outside of the box will not
be opened and will be “Returned to Sender” postage
due.
- Customer holds the responsibility for proper packaging and shipping
of RMA. Items damaged or lost in shipping will be the sole responsibility
of the customer. It is required that static sensitive items be shipped
in an individual static bag.
- All replacement items will be shipped via prepaid UPS Ground or
FedEx Saver. Any other shipping method, if requested, will incur
a shipping
fee. Items will not be shipped until the RMA item has been received.
If item is found to have no defects, customer will be responsible
for any shipping costs incurred.
- Physically damaged items will not be accepted. This includes:
tool marks, removal of stickers, defacing, scratches, cracks, writing,
melting, or any damage that can directly be attributed to abuse or
damage by customer. Items received damaged (by the customer) should
be reported within 48 hours by contacting Customer Service at 949.461.9999
or 866.444.2726.
